As part of the Erasmus + project "Plan your success today" on 6th May 2018 the second students' mobility took part. This tme teenagers visited Kandava a beauliful town in Latvia. On the day of our arrival the host families prepared a lot of attractions and trips for their guests. On the first day of the visit at Kandavas Internatvidusskola the students had an opportunity to get to know each other better during some integrating activities. Then, Latvian pupils showed us around the school. Another attraction was a Latvian lesson prepared by students. The guests were taught basic words and phrases in the host language. Those who like to experiment in the kitchen could prepare a traditional Latvian lunch for the whole group as part of the culinary course. The rest of the students went to handwork workshops, during which they made souvenirs such as: magnets, badges and neclaces by themselves. After tasting delicious lunch (meat balls soup and baking pasties) made by teenager cooks the pupils were asked to create posters presenting theircountries. The culmination of the day were relaxation classes with the use of warm sand. In the Warm Sand Studio students had a workshop doing activities which help to balance the emotional process, provides relaxation, strengthen self identity. On Tuesday the students went to Tervete Natural Park. They walked along the winding forest paths, picturesque bridges, passing wooden sculptures and houses, which - as it turned out - show the characters from the novels of the well-known Latvian writer Anna Brigadere. After dinner, pupils visited to the Rundale Palace, which is the most spectacular monument of baroque art in Latvia. all the participants of the trip were delighted with the magnificent palace which is surrounded by the huge colorful garden with a unique fountain. The next day the students took part in Technically Creative Workshops organised by Ltd. ASPIRED, Ventspils which motto was: try, get to know, be enthusiastic. During the workshops students could develope the predispositions which are useful on the labor market, such as: unconventional thinking, ingenuity, cooperation, programming language, and technical thinking. Ltd. Aspired is one of the leading organizers of technically creative workshops in Latvia that offers more than twenty exciting workshops for children, young people and their parents. Technically Creative Workshops are an educational and attractive event for children and young people to entertain, create a team spirit, develop a joy of competition, and generally stimulate interest in science and technical fields, which are clearly the most promising today. Technically Creative Workshops provide insight and educate children in physics, chemistry, cosmonautics, mechanics, and other areas. During the mobility students participated and gained experience in 2 workshops. «DOMINO EFFECT» The creative workshop combines the principle of the Rube Goldberg machine - something quite simple to do as hard as possible, using force and inertia. This workshop enables to truly captivate and enhance the team spirit by working together to create a "complex machine". The greatest value of a technically creative workshop "Domino Effect" is its instruction that you should never stop at the first failure, not even at the second or third. By investing in energy, creative imagination, patience and the whole team working together, it is possible to achieve the perfect result that can bring real satisfaction to the participants. "JAVA programmer" The technically creative JAVA programmer is an exciting and unique floor game whose mission is to stimulate the interest of the students in the technical sectors. In the first part of the workshop, students were introduced to the profession of a programmer. The presentation tells students about the necessary education, skills, subjects and qualities they need to become a programmer. Presentations on the professions deal with the following questions: What character qualities do I need? What skills, knowledge and education are needed? What are related professions? What are the main job responsibilities? What is the working environment? What are the working tools? What do you need to know about yourself? How can you plan a career successfully? What kind of companies can you work with? Why do people choose this profession and what to do to study a particular profession? The game strengthens the ability to see the use of a ready-made algorithm, strengthen programming principles, familiarize yourself with java  programming language, and test the feasibility of a task with the proposed team in programming language, allowing students to appreciate their future career opportunities in programming. Game "JAVA Programmer" develops the logical and critical thinking skills needed to become a programmer. The game allows students to use their previous knowledge in mathematics, informatics and social sciences, as well as actively train and apply logical thinking, thus linking the knowledge acquired at school with the required profession. Thanks to the cooperation in the international groups, the teenagers were able to improve the abilities mentioned above as well as the use of English. In the afternoon pupils went on a trip to the chocolate factory PURE. From a small town in the west of Latvia there is a great passion for chocolate. For more than ten years, they have been working to create rich, naturally-made Belgian chocolate truffles. During the visit students and teachers had a great opportunity to get to know about the factory "Pure Chocolate", saw and heard stories about chocolate extraction, processing and use, as well as got to know the history of chocolate. During the workshop the museum staffexplained and showed us the truffle production process in the simple, easy-to-understand and memorable way. Each of us participated in the process of creating and decorating chocolate which was followed by tasting the chocolate. Thursday began with a walk around Kandava. Next the students and teachers involved in the project from Poland and Croatia visited the Kandava Agricultural Technical School, where we were welcomed by the Deputy Director of Education Ausma Migliniece. Participants of the project got acquainted with the range of professions offered by school- catering services, hotel services, electrical engineering, agricultural machinery, car mechanics, and commercial science. Well-equipped study rooms and technical equipment were shown to the visitors during the tour in the school. The students of the school shared their experience about getting their vocational education and about their future plans. (The video about Kandava Agricultural Technical School https://youtu.be/qGbMGu7mChA) Later, during the visit of the Youth Center the guests learnt about the work of the culture animator. In the afternoon we participated in the "Dance Day" - a talent show organized by the host school. The visitors admired the performances of the host students and their parents presenting dances from different parts of the world. Then, until the late hours, we had fun at the school disco. The last point of the programme was a trip to Riga. The students visited the American Embassy in Riga. LTT in Poland 22nd - 26th January

W dniach 22 - 26 stycznia 2018 roku gościli u nas uczniowie pochodzący z Łotwy i Chorwacji wraz z opiekunami.

Pierwszym punktem
programu było założone w 1952 roku Muzeum Olimpijskie. Jego zbiory liczą ponad 45
tysięcy eksponatów: medali, pucharów, sztandarów, fotografii, strojów i sprzętu sportowego
oraz filmów. Goście mogli poznać sylwetki olimpijczyków oraz rozwój poszczególnych
dyscyplin. Następnie wszyscy udali się do budynku Telewizji Polskiej S.A., gdzie zwiedzili
sale telewizyjne, pomieszczenia reżyserskie oraz muzeum. Później autokar zawiózł grupę na
Starówkę, można było spacerować, kupić pamiątki i podziwiać architekturę. Na koniec wycieczki młodzież dotarła do Centrum Nauki "Kopernik", gdzie dzięki zaawansowanym technologiom i multimediom oraz wynalazkom poznała tajniki nauki.
Pobyt gości z Chorwacji i Łotwy szybko dobiegł końca. Był niezwykle udany,
pouczający i pełen atrakcji.
